Sustainability and social responsibility at PA

We advised clients around the world on sustainability issues, took further steps to reduce our own environmental footprint and gave back to the community through our volunteering scheme.

Leading the sustainability agenda

We continued to advise our clients on strategies to minimise their impact on the environment, through projects in the areas of green IT, agriculture, sustainable tourism, smart grid technology and lean manufacturing, among others.

In 2009, PA participated as a new member in the World Business Council on Sustainable Development (WBCSD), a CEO-led global association of some 200 companies dealing exclusively with business and sustainable development. Additionally, PA submitted its first annual report to the UN Global Compact (UNGC) in October, in which we reported on PA’s progress towards the UNGC’s 10 principles, covering human rights, fair labour practices, environmental sustainability and anticorruption.
