Mark Thomas, business strategy specialist at PA Consulting Group, has been interviewed on the BBC Radio 4 PM programme in a feature on UK bank lending.

Mark is interviewed by Hugh Pym as part of a discussion about the UK banking sector and the ongoing difficulties businesses are facing in securing credit.

Mark highlighted how banks are still coping with bad debt from the financial crisis and that this is making them reluctant to lend. He points out that the banks now realise that they need to be more cautious in their old lending practices and that what they have on their balance sheets is not what they thought they had.
